Mitigasi Bencana Pada Komunitas Terpilih di Area Bencana Erupsi Gunung Merapi Yogyakarta.

Gunung Merapi adalah gunung berapi aktif di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Letusan gunung Merapi berdampak luas pada beberapa kabupaten, menyebabkan korban jiwa, serta kerugian finansial yang besar. Oleh karena itu harus dilakukan mitigasi yang tepat. Mitigasi bencana adalah isu kritis karena komunitas di area rawan bencana setiap hari berhadapan bahaya vulkanik. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mitigasi bencana erupsi gunung Merapi pada komunitas terpilih di area rawan bencana erupsi gunung Merapi dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik, melibatkan 170 kepala keluarga sebagai responden. Nilai rata-rata interpretasi deskriptif mitigasi bencana di komunitas terpilih di gunung Merapi di Yogyakarta, dalam hal mitigasi struktural adalah sangat tinggi (4,75), dan nilai mean mitigasi non-struktural juga sangat tinggi (4, 77). Sehingga nilai rata-rata mitigasi bencana di beberapa komunitas terpilih di sekitar Merapi adalah sangat tinggi (mean 4,76). Dalam perspektif peneliti, secara keseluruhan nilai rata-rata yang sangat tinggi dalam interpretasi deskriptif mitigasi bencana di masyarakat terpilih di sekitar Merapi mengindikasikan adanya konsensus yang kuat mengenai keefektifan langkah-langkah mitigasi struktural dan non-struktural. Kesimpulannya adalah nilai rata-rata yang sangat tinggi menunjukkan bahwa anggota masyarakat mengakui pentingnya strategi mitigasi struktural dan non-struktural dalam mengurangi risiko yang terkait dengan letusan gunung berapi. Masyarak terus menjaga kualitas mitigasi bencana dalam level tinggi.
