PENGARUH AKUPUNTUR TERHADAP MIGREN PADA PASIEN DI KLINIK AKUPUNTUR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BETHESDA YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Latar Belakang: akupuntur sangat populer sebagai metode pengobatan alternatif untuk penyembuhan
penyakit. Akupuntur menimbulkan efek analgesi. Efek analgesik ini diperlukan untuk mengatasi penyakit
disertai rasa nyeri seperti pada migren. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi akupuntur terhadap
nyeri pada pasien migren di Klinik Akupuntur CD Bethesda Yogyakarta Tahun 2014. Metodologi Penelitian:
penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik quasi experimental dengan menggunakan pretest-posttest
one group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pasien yang melakukan terapi akupuntur
di Klinik Akupuntur CD Bethesda Yogyakarta. Sampel penelitian ini adalah semua pasien dengan migren
yang melakukan terapi akupuntur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan consecutive sampling sejumlah
20 subjek. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Numerical rating scale (NSR). Uji statistik
yang digunakan adalah uji wilcoxon signed rank. Hasil Penelitian: analisa statistik dengan wilcoxon
signed ranks test menunjukkan hasil yang bermakna dengan signiï¬ kansi P=0,000 dengan α=0,05 (P<0.05).
Nilai rata-rata skala nyeri sebelum akupuntur 6,10 dan setelah akupuntur 2,80. Kesimpulan: ada
pengaruh yang bermakna dari pelaksanaan terapi akupuntur terhadap nyeri pada pasien migren di Klinik
Akupuntur CD Bethesda Yogyakarta tahun 2014. Saran: terapi akupuntur dapat menjadi salah satu terapi
yang efektif dalam mengatasi nyeri pada pasien migren.

ABSTRACT
Background: acupuncture is very popular as a method of alternative medicine to cure the disease.
Acupuncture effect analgesi. This analgesic effect is required to cope with the disease is accompanied pain
such as migraine. Objective: the objective of this study was to determine the effect of acupuncture on the
pain of migraine patients of the Community Development Bethesda Acupuncture Clinic in Yogyakarta
2014.†Method: this was quasi experimental study with one-group pretest - posttest design. The population
was all patients undergoing acupuncture therapy in CD Bethesda Yogyakarta Acupuncture Clinic. The
sample was all patients with migraine who perform acupuncture therapy. There were 20 samples.
The instrument used were questionnaires of Numerical rating scale (NSR). The result was tested statistically
by wilcoxon signed ranks test. Results: statistical analysis by wilcoxon signed ranks test showed signiï¬ cant
results with signiï¬ cance value P = 0.000 at α = 0.05. The mean score obtained in the pre-test was 6.10,
while the result of the post-test gained the mean score of 2.80. The decreasing level of migraine pained was
shown by the difference value of 3.30. Conclusion: there was a signiï¬ cant difference before and after
acupuncture therapy on the pain of migraine patients at CD Bethesda Yogyakarta Acupuncture Clinic in
2014. Recomendation: acupuncture therapy is effective in curing the pain of migraine patients.
