PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Arreta: Community Health Service Journal implements the following review process policy:

  1. Authors must register before submitting their articles to Arreta: Community Health Service Journal through the OJS system.
  2. Authors are expected to have conducted a plagiarism check and to be free from other copyright violations before submitting the manuscript (similarity ≤ 25%)
  3. The accepted manuscript is reviewed by a reviewer with relevant specialization. The reviewer is determined by the Editor. The manuscript will undergo an initial review process conducted by the Editor. Editors first review the submitted manuscript, called the initial review by the editors. It will be desk evaluated whether the submitted manuscript is suitable for the Arreta: Community Health Service Journal on focus and scope, methodological flaws, readability of the articles, and adherence to the submitted paper template.
  4. Furthermore, the manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Double-Blind Peer-Review).
  5. The anonymous reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. Afterward, the editorial team meeting suggested the final decision on the revised manuscript by the authors.
  6. Finally, the Editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.
  7. The accepted manuscript then continued the copyediting and layout editing process to prepare the camera-ready paper.
