Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an upper or lower respiratory tract disease that is usually contagious and can cause various diseases, ranging from asymptomatic or mild infection to severe and fatal disease, depending on the causative pathogen, environment, and host. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the physical condition of the house and smoking habits in the house, and the incidence of acute respiratory infections in the working area of the Madurejo Health Center. This research used correlational descriptive research using the cross-sectional approach. Respondents in this study were 64, and the sampling technique was the purposive sampling technique. Measurements were made with a questionnaire and statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test. The physical condition of the house did not meet the requirements were 42 respondents (65.6%), the smoking habit of family members in the house was mostly 49 respondents (76.6%), and the incidence of acute respiratory infection of respondents diagnosed were mostly 43 respondents (67.2%). The results of the Chi-Square statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.000. There is a relationship between the physical home condition and the incidence of acute respiratory infections, and there is a relationship between smoking habits at home and the incidence of acute respiratory infections at Madurejo Public Health Center.
