HUBUNGAN KECANDUAN PENGGUNAAN SMARTPHONE DENGAN KUALITASTIDUR MAHASISWA D-3 KEPERAWATAN DI AKPER BINA INSANI SAKTI KOTA SUNGAI PENUH TAHUN 2022

The number of smartphone users worldwide is expected to continue to grow, dominated by 16-25 year olds who are widely used by college-level students. Students are considered vulnerable to technological developments because of the dynamics of their development and the freedom of their families from social roles and expectations and the features offered are very attractive, the applications are complete and reflect a metropolitan lifestyle. Dependence on using smartphones can cause a worsening of a person's sleep quality, one of which is a student. Nursing students is a group of students who are most at risk of experiencing sleep disorders. This may be due to the high duration and intensity of education, the large number of assignments, exams and heavy responsibilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between smartphone use addiction and sleep quality in Bina Insani Sakti Nursing students in 2022. This research method was an observational analytical study with a cross sectional design conducted on Bina Insani Sakti Nursing students by filling out questionnaires. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling with a total of 69 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study was analyzed by univariate, bivariate using chi-square test. Results from 69 respondents, 36 respondents (52.2%) were addicted to using smartphones. The results showed that 37 respondents (53.6%) experienced poor sleep quality.
