Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease or commonly called CKD is a disorder of function in the kidneys that cannot heal again due to metabolism can not maintain in the body. Impaired fluid balance can lead to an increase in the ureum in the body. If patients do not retain fluids or increased fluid will cause shortness of breath, complaints of flatulence, there is edema of the extremities, increased weight, and increased blood pressure. This study is aimed to understand nursing care in chronic kidney disease patients with fluid balance disorders. Literature review used descriptive analysis in the form of case studies or nursing care. In a literature review study in the first journal where fluid intake for 24 hours was 1000 ml, while the urine output is only 80 ml every 24 hours with a frequency of 4 to 6 times per day where the volume of urine is only approximately 20 ml per urination. The second journal of excess fluid volume that occurred in both respondents was where the input state was greater than the output and there was a decrease in urine distribution to <500 ml per day. There is a problem with fluid balance disorders in chronic kidney disease patients.
