IMPLEMENTASI MOBILISASI UNTUK MENCEGAH ULKUS DEKUBITUS PADA PASIEN FRAKTUR PRE OPERASI

Abstract

Bed rest is a condition where the patient is advised to stay in bed for the purpose of the healing process, it can cause decubitus ulcers. Decubitus ulcer are damage to the skin or to muscle tissue. The prevalance of pressure sores at Hospital Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta by 40%. For this reason, the method of handling to prevent pressure ulcers it to use mobilization such as tilting right, left, sitting or othe movments every two hours. The mobilization is useful for improving blood circulation and avoiding parts of the bony prominences that are continuoulsy focused on causing pressure sores. Describe the application of mobilization in preventing pressure ulcers in preoprative patients. This Scientific Writing method uded a desctipitive case study whit 1 female patient who had a fracture of the right femur and then used the Norton scal instrument. According to the results of the case study, mobilization of pastients on bed rest every two hours can prevent pressure ulcers from accurring. Mobilization of patients on bed rest every 2 hours on ny. A with a Norton scal of 10 is considered effective because during the 3 days of intervention there no symptoms of decubitus ulcers.
