GAMBARAN KECEMASAN PADA LANSIA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS UNURUM GUAY KABUPATEN JAYAPURA

Abstract

Anxiety is an emotional state that occurs when an individual is stressed and is marked by stress, the thought that makes the individual anxious, and is associated with physical responses (heart rate, blood pressure, and so on). Anxiety stems from genetic predisposition, traumatic experiences and in women, often asa result of the hormonal cycle. To geta picture of anxiety in the elderly working area of the unurum guay district of jayapura. This study employs quantitative deskrpitif. The sample used in this study was an elderly da in the region of the unurum guay centre of the interior using a total sampling. Data obtained using a questionnaire and dimulgated. The instrument on this study use questionnaire of 25 different notes and an ordinal scale. The result found the level of anxiety of the elderly in the unurum guay work area of the unurum guay with a category of mild anxiety of 17 respondents (47.2%), moderate anxiety of 10 (27.8%) and not of 9 respondents (25%). Studies reveal a high level of anxiety for the elderly in category mild at Unurum Guay Public Healt Center.
