UPAYA MENURUNKAN TINGKAT NYERI DENGAN TERAPI KOMPRES HANGAT PADA ANAK POST OPERASI SOFT TISSUE TUMOR

Abstract

Soft Tissue Tumors are abnormal lumps or swellings caused by neoplasms and non-neoplasms. At RSUP Dr.Sardjito Yogyakarta, there have been 26 cases of tumors over the past 3 months (cendana ward register 4, the last 3 months, 2022). Acute postoperative pain appears as a result of cutting or stretching the tissue resulting in trauma and inflammation of the surrounding tissues, giving rise to a nociceptive stimulus that stimulates the nociceptive receptors. Pharmacological management is commonly used to treat pain by using analgesic drugs. And non pharmacological pain management that is, with Skin stimulation techniques (warm compress therapy). In the results of research Yovita (2018) said there is an effectiveness of warm compresses on reducing pain intensity in postoperative patients. Author of the science of giving warm compresses to reduce the level of pain in children after surgery soft tissue tumor. Descriptive in the form of a case study that is carried out in depth on a situation or condition in a systematic way starting from making observations, collecting data, analyzing information and reporting results. Pain in postoperative patients soft tissue tumor reduced after warm compress therapy for 3 days. The administration of warm compress therapy can reduce the level of pain in children with tumor soft tissue. It is hoped that the next research can do better so that the results will be more perfect.
