PENERAPAN LATIHAN RANGE OF MOTION (ROM) PADA PASIEN STROKE DENGAN KELEMAHAN OTOT DI PUSKESMAS PAJANGAN BANTUL

Stroke is a disease that attacks the central nervous system so that blood circulation to the brain is disrupted and has an impact on other body parts, such as limbs experiencing weakness or paralysis. giving passive ROM therapy in the form of movement exercises on the wrists, elbows, shoulders, toes or on the extremities that experience hemiparesis is very useful to avoid complications due to lack of movement, such as contractures, joint stiffness and ROM exercises to increase knee joint flexibility. To describe the benefits of applying Range of Motion (ROM) exercise in increasing muscle strength in Stroke Patients at Pajangan Health Center Bantul. Methods: The method used in this research is descriptive in the form of case studies. From the application of Muscular Movement Vulnerability (ROM) which was carried out on one female respondent with muscle weakness (stroke) and was carried out for 3 days there was an increase in the muscle strength scale from the first day muscle strength scale, namely scale (1) to scale (2) and on the third day the moderate pain scale (1) becomes a (2) scale. The application of ROM muscle range of motion that is carried out in stroke patients illustrates that there is an effect on range of motion (ROM) to increase muscle strength in 1 respondent, a woman who is an outpatient at the Pajangan Health Center, Bantul.
