Background: Hypertension patients in Southeast Asia are the third highest in the world and the prevalence of patients in Indonesia has increased from 25.8% to 34.1%. The average outpatient and inpatient hypertension patient visits in the last 3 months at Emanuel Hospital were 302 patients suffering from hypertension who needed special attention. Methods of managing hypertension have been applied, both pharmacologically and nonpharmacologically. One of the innovative nonpharmacological therapies that can be done in hospitals is foot hydrotherapy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of foot hydrotherapy with warm water, salt, and lemongrass in reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Main Symptoms: ncreased blood pressure systole over 140 mmhg and diastole over 90 mmhg, rapid breathing, restlessness and pain in the nape and headache. Methods: This scientific work uses a quantitative descriptive method with a case study design. The population is hypertensive patients, the sample technique is purposive sampling with a sample of one person. Foot hydrotherapy with warm water, salt, and lemongrass can reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients, assessment with blood pressure observation sheets and sphygmomanometer. Results: After the implementation of foot hydrotherapy with warm water, salt, and lemongrass for 3 days, intervention for 20 minutes, the patient showed a decrease in systole and diastole blood pressure. Conclusion: The application of foot hydrotherapy with warm water, salt, and lemongrass for 20 minutes can reduce the blood pressure of hypertensive patients at Emanuel Klampok Hospital.
