Abstract

 Kiropraktik merupakan salah satu bentuk pelayanan kesehatan komplementer yang berfokus pada penanganan gangguan muskuloskeletal, khususnya tulang belakang. Secara global, praktik kiropraktik telah diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan di berbagai negara, namun di Indonesia praktik ini masih menghadapi tantangan regulasi dan penerimaan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pandangan pemangku kepentingan terkait regulasi, pendidikan, pengetahuan masyarakat, dan kepercayaan publik terhadap praktik kiropraktik di Indonesia.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif. Pengambilan partisipan dilakukan secara purposive sampling hingga mencapai kejenuhan data. Sebanyak sembilan partisipan yang terdiri dari akademisi, praktisi, pembuat kebijakan, dan klien diwawancarai secara mendalam. Data dianalisis
menggunakan metode analisis tematik.Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi 40 kode, 13 kategori, dan empat tema utama, yaitu: (1) regulasi praktik kiropraktik yang belum jelas, (2) pendidikan formal kiropraktik yang masih dalam pembahasan, (3) keterbatasan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kiropraktik, dan (4) rendahnya kepercayaan publik terhadap praktik kiropraktik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiadaan regulasi dan pendidikan formal yang terstandar berkontribusi terhadap variasi praktik serta persepsi negatif masyarakat. Penelitian inimenyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan praktik kiropraktik di Indonesia memerlukan regulasi berbasis bukti, pendidikan formal terakreditasi, dan edukasi publik yang berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan keselamatan pasien
dan kepercayaan masyarakat.
