Abstract

Hallucinations are a form of false sensory perception that is not related to real external stimuli and can involve any of the five senses. Hallucinations that are not handled properly condition can worsen and can pose a risk to the safety of the client himself, others and the environment. One of the nursing interventions that can be done to help hallucinating clients reduce hallucinatory signs is a scheduled activity in the implementation strategy. The selected scheduled activity is classical music therapy. The incidence of hallusinations in RSJD Surakarta in January obtained as many as 3481 patients who experience hallucinations. Type and design in this study is descriptive, sampling techniques in this study using a total population with a sample of 1 respondent in RSJD Surakarta. The result of the average percentage of signs - symptoms before being given music therapy is 72.7%, and the average percentage of signs - symptoms after being given music therapy is 18.5%. The results of the application showed that after the application of music therapy there was a decrease in both subjects.  From this study it can be concluded that there is an application between classical music therapy to decrease signs and symptoms in patients with auditory hallucinations in the abhimanyu in patient from at RSJD Surakarta.
