Abstract

This program aims to educate children and toddlers in Berbah, Yogyakarta, about the importance of personal and environmental hygiene through an engaging and interactive English-based approach. The initiative involves families in fostering hygienic habits from an early age. The methodology combines educational games, interactive videos, and English-based materials to capture the children’s interest. Parental involvement is crucial to ensure the application of PHBS practices at home. The expected outcomes of this program include contributing to improved public health by promoting healthier behaviors such as regular handwashing, maintaining a clean environment, and better personal hygiene awareness. Program evaluation is conducted through surveys and interviews with participants and their parents to assess the program’s effectiveness and long-term impact.
